For years, Ekawu Joseph lived with a large keloid growing on his cheek. What began as a small growth gradually became severe, extending toward his neck and significantly altering his appearance — affecting not only his physical health but also his emotional well-being.
People were often afraid to come close. Children referred to him as "the man with a huge ball on his face," and many kept their distance. He became withdrawn, depressed, and lost friendships. His family searched tirelessly for help but could not afford the specialized surgery required.
That miracle came when he met the Founder of the Charity Ohotu Foundation. Through her compassion and swift intervention, his medical bills were fully covered. He received the necessary surgeries and medications for a successful recovery.
